Network Services

Our Network Services Division has a successful history of performing network infrastructure installations. Our goal is to provide certified structured connectivity solutions and Special Systems Services to new and existing customers as well as servicing customers through opportunities presented by our Electrical Division.

This business segment specializes in the design-build, installation, and service of physical layer Structured Connectivity Systems. Walker markets to corporate, industrial, and institutional end-users both directly and under the scope of the general contractor. Network Services products and services are directly supported and aligned with the Electrical Division sales efforts within Walker Engineering.

Audio/Visual Systems

Our Audio/Visual Design-Build Group is part of the Network Services Division and maintains the same successful history of performing integrated audio, video and integrated control systems installations. As with the Network Services Division, this business segment specializes in the design-build, installation, and service of integrated A/V systems. Audio/Visual Group’s products and services are directly supported and aligned with the Electrical Division sales efforts within Walker Engineering. Our Audio/Visual Services Division works closely with the Network Services, security and electrical divisions to ensure successful installations.

Security Services

Our Security Services Group is part of the Network Services Division and maintains the same successful history of performing integrated security and CCTV installations. As with the Network Services Division, this business segment specializes in the design-build, installation, and demand/emergency service. Security Services products and services are directly supported and aligned with the Electrical Division sales efforts within Walker Engineering. Our Special Services Division works closely with the Network Services, audio/visual and electrical divisions to ensure successful installations.

Walker’s design capabilities have been utilized on numerous projects throughout the years producing record and shop drawings supporting numerous types of construction projects.

Electrical Contracting/Maintenance Services

Walker has designed and installed numerous high-visibility electrical projects throughout Texas. Numerous clients depend on us to ensure their day to day and long term reliability. We provide preventative maintenance and infra-red services to manufacturing plants, commercial buildings, and industrial sites throughout Texas. Clients like National Semiconductor, Texas Instruments, Nokia, and Motorola depend on our expertise and capabilities.

Walker has the latest state of the art infra-red imaging and digital photography equipment. With our extensive experience in the field of thermal scanning we can provide you with information to correct a problem before they become an electrical hazard and liability. Our reports include thermal and digital images with the current amps and temperature readings for each of the affected areas and recommendations to correct problems.

Walker can provide your Facility Managers the technical support and labor to perform the manufacture recommended preventive maintenance program on all electrical equipment. On a daily basis we perform torque and clean projects each of them tailored to fit the electrical distribution system needs. We understand that the length of downtime is of high importance in any type of shut down of the electrical equipment. We work with your staff to minimize impact.
