Integrated Systems Excellence

The Center and Laboratory for Integrated System Excellence provides the infrastructure for integrating products into an Enterprise class integrated system solution.  It is both a presentation center and a laboratory where the visions of solution developers may be thoroughly examined.    As a presentation center, serious users and consultants may experience the operation of a truly high-end solution in an absolutely realistic manner.  As a laboratory it provides a resource rich test bed for evaluating the worth of solutions and testing those solutions against objective and quantitative test procedures and scripts.  Because it is a laboratory, the solution may be adapted to conform to someone’s vision of how a system might be configured to meet a particular set of requirements enabling concept validation and refinement early in the acquisition process.   

This is a unique facility.  Facility assets include a Command Center with all of the system resources needed to simulate genuine command center operations, a presentation facility that is the foundation of a laboratory for an Emergency Operations Center, and a full-featured enterprise class integrated system solution.  The integrated system solution is based on ICS’ EnterpriseSMS Version 5 and incorporates all of the core components and many special features of an Enterprise class integrated system.  The site diagram illustrates the resources available in the laboratory and the infrastructure that supports it.  While Laboratory Partner products constitute a large component of the laboratory’s assets, many other products are incorporated and the laboratory system is always in operational use.
