HOW DO I GET RID OF THE JAVA CONSOLE?Click your START button, choose PROGRAMS, and find ORACLE JINITIATOR CONTROL PANEL on the list of programs. Start the program. Remove the checkbox from the Show Java Console checkbox, click Apply, then close the control panel. AFTER INSTALLATION, I CLICK TO ENTER THE CENTER, BUT EITHER NOTHING HAPPENS, OR I GET AN ERROR MESSAGE STATING THAT I CANNOT CONNECT TO THE SERVER. You are most likely trying to access the center though a proxy server. Check with your system adminstration to verify this. If your system is connected to the Internet through a proxy server, you will have to use the E-Support Center on a machine that does not connect through that server. I GET INTO THE CENTER BUT I CAN'T USE (OR SEE) THE SCROLL BARS TO GET TO OTHER PARTS OF THE FORMS. Try setting your browser's text size to a smaller setting. I'VE WAITED MORE THAN 40 MINUTES FOR JINITIATOR TO COMPLETE THE JINITIATOR DOWNLOAD. Due to heavy traffic, you may be downloading at slow speeds. Or, your service provider (if on dial-up) may have unexpectedly dropped the connection. (NETSCAPE) NOTHING HAPPENS WHEN I'M PROMPTED TO GET MY JAVA PLUG-IN. Make sure your Netscape preferences are set to enable Java and JavaScripts. I SPENT ALL THIS TIME DOWNLOADING AND MY SYSTEM HUNG DURING INSTALLATION. DO I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD AGAIN?No. Look in one of the subfolders of C:\WINDOWS\TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES. What you downloaded is in one of those folders. Run the installation again from there. STILL NOT WORKING. HELP!!!Maintain a positive attitude. Send an e-mail to support@commandsystems.com, and we'll help you get going.
