The Visitor Registration Station (VRS) is a form-based interface used for the entry of visitor badging information. Visitor access may be associated with a designated escort, forcing consecutive swipes by visitor and escort in order for access to be permitted. The VRS also includes an interface for the issuance of temporary badges to employees, should a badge be lost or forgotten. The VRS is an optional feature.
