Required when more parallel ports are required than are available

Badging and report printing are the most common uses of parallel ports. If both are to be performed at a single computer, then an expansion card may be required  since most computers only provide one parallel port.

May be required when an AIX or SCO server is deployed. It is required if the workstation will support an IBS with an AIX or SCO server.
