Windows which present information to which operator react support the COMMANDS interface that provides context sensitive access to information, system control, macro execution, communications, and alarms. The COMMANDS interface works with the presentation interfaces and immediately presents the correct control capabilities to your operator. While other products lock in fixed screens and require operators to navigate complex menus, the Enterprise Command Station provides the correct control options with a simple right click, in real time.
The COMMANDS window is available from MULTIPLE locations. It can be called from:
Imagine an operator observes something unusual in a video view
window, perhaps a person where they shouldn't be. Unable to
immediately assess if a brek-in, legitimate access, or something else is
afoot, the operator right clicks in the video window and selects
alarms. |
|
The commands window displays any alarms associated with that
view such as forced doors, intrusion alarms, etc. By selecting an
alarm the operator has the option to control the devices associated with
the alarm or to control related devices. |
|
Controlling a door or gate in the view is easy since the
controlled points related to the view appear on the Commands window Points
tab. The context of the tab is established by the point selection
and the point type. |
