The windows below illustrate what are referred to as MONITOR WINDOWS, i.e. windows that replace the typical video monitor of legacy systems. Multiple MONITOR WINDOWS may run on a single station at the same time.

Hardwaremon{#}This refers to the number assigned to the physical display monitor on the computer (i.e.HARDWAREMON0, HARDWAREMON1, HARDWAREMON2, HARDWAREMON3). Below is an example of a physical monitor definition.

MONITORWNDThis refers to any independent QuickView window. These can be predefined with set positions and default views on an ECS, they can be created by clicking the QuickView icon on the ECS Console, or they can be created ad hoc with such actions as CLONE. |

ECSCONSOLEThe ECS Console provides an operator access to applications on the ECS Station |

SCOREBOARDThe SCOREBOARD provides an inventory of off-normal and restored events. |

SBMONITOR{#}The Scoreboard monitor windows are used to display context-sensitive views at the location of an event when an operator clicks on an event in the SCOREBOARD. |

MAPDISPLAYThe Map Display window displays the geospatial map. |
|
MAPMONITOR{#}The Map monitor windows are used to display context-sensitive views at the location when the operator clicks on a device or a view in the MAP. |

GRAPHICSThe Graphics window displays Objects defined within Visio which display state information about the system objects in a graphical format. |

AP MONITOR WINDOWThe Access Point monitor window is utilized to control custom access processes such as a mantrap. Stored images of the badgeholder as well as live images at the access point provide the operator context from which to GRANT or DENY access using the icons in the window. |

GUARD TOUR WINDOWThe Guard Tour window is used to start and stop guard tours and to display the current status of the tour. |
