Login by OperatorID or Auto Login

There are 2 methods to login to the ECS.

1. If there are no options on the ECS Console, the operator will be asked for a userid and password for login to the ECS station.  The userid will be looked up in the operator_tbl and login permitted if the userid and password are correct.
2. If the administrator places the -a option on the ECS Console program, it will use the windows userid and look that up in the operator table.  If it is in the operator table, it will log the station in.  This option permits the operator to only have to enter his/her password when he/she logs in to the computer.

USING WINDOWS USER LOGIN Permit computer user logon permission access to the ECS: To enable this option, place '-a' after the program name in the target

USERID/PASSWORD Require ESMS login of operator: To enable this option, simply start the ECS Console program
