VMGMain

VMGMain is the Video-Maps-Graphics Main Service which provides behind the scenes support for the automatic and synchronized display of maps, graphics, and views.  This program provides much of the intelligence needed to support peer to peer communications between distributed system elements.

This program is normally placed into the REGEDIT services file to be started on computer startup.  Options exist on the Advanced Tab of the ECS Console where it may be stopped and or started by an operator if desired.  This program controls the automatic placement of QuickView windows on the ECS monitors as well as interactions between the ECS processes.  VMGMain provides communications to other stations as required in the 'Send To' video operation.
